Looking for a fun-loving, outgoing, family kitty, who LOVES hugs? Look no further! Marzipan would be the perfect addition to just about any home, including those with kids and other pets. Marzipan loves nothing more than getting pet, snuggled, picked up, and held. She loves to wrap her paws around you when you pick her up - she truly hugs back! No one is a stranger to Marzipan, she happily greets anyone who comes into the house with her happy meow, ready to get pet and show them all of her purrs. She is incredibly outgoing. She is always in the middle of the action, never hiding, or shying away from anything. She's an explorer, who is up for anything! When Marzipan isn't busy seeking your attention, she loves playing with spring toys, balls, and wand toys, followed by snuggling up in the cat tree to sun bathe. She's the definition of a confident kitty and fear is not a word in her extensive vocabulary of meows and chirps!

Marzipan would love to go to a home with other cats, though she would happily be a solo cat as well if she goes to a family with a lot of time, attention and love to give her! She also does well with dogs, who understand how to interact with cats, including her foster mom's big german shepherd! Marzipan does well with respectful children of all ages. She is a one-of-a-kind kitty, who has been said to have a "dog-like" personality due to her outgoing nature. Whoever adopts Marzipan would be extremely fortunate to have her, she brings a huge smile to anyone who meets her!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
