Our Adoption Process:Muttsinneed.org/adoption-process

At 1 year old and approx 73lbs, Sterling is a handsome Doberman with a story of resilience.

Rescued from a shelter with only hours left to live, Sterling’s journey has only begun. Despite his rough start, including cuts on his face from kennel stress and the scars of a past as a backyard breeder’s castoff, his spirit remains unbroken.

Sterling’s cropped ears and docked tails are just remnants of his past life. He is sweet and seeks comfort from the volunteers that are able to take him out for walks. Though he may flinch at fast movements or loud sounds, Sterling’s determination shows though while learning to trust and feel secure.

His ideal home will have an experienced handler that will provide the patience, love and consistency that he requires while working through his bashful nature.

If you’re looking to add a loyal companion to your family and help Sterling rewrite his rough past, apply at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html
