Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Josie was found as a stray in an area that has become pretty common for dumping grounds. She was underweight and her veterinarian noticed she has a scar that can be traced all the way around muzzle, indicating her mouth was either tied or taped up at one point.
Despite her past, Josie is a sweetheart and typical Bully who wants to be with you 24/7. If you’re walking to the kitchen, she’s coming too! If you’re going to sit on the couch or run to the bathroom, she’s right by your side, wagging her tail.
Josie walks well on a leash but will pull when she sees another animal, such as a squirrel, rabbit or another dog.
So far, Josie has gotten along just fine with her dog and cat foster sisters. However, if the cat starts running, she will give chase!
Josie also loves children. She gets so excited when they walk by our house to and from school and just wants everyone to pet her.
Josie does have some separation anxiety but we’ve been working really hard with her. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is housebroken.
If you’re looking for your new bestie to have with you 100% of the time, Josie is your girl!
