Hi, I'm Jessie! I'm happy-go-lucky and ready to party! By party I mean run around and play, preferably with friends! I'd love to have an active family who can play with me, and hike with me, and take me on adventures but I will not hesitate to snuggle up on the couch with you for movie night either! I'm still working on learning all my manners, but I'm very food motivated and ready to learn. I can, though, do the cutest of head tilts! I haven't met any dogs here yet, but I'm definitely up for doing a meet-and-greet if you have any dogs at home! Hopefully we can be best friends! Think I could be your perfect adventure buddy? More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
