Hi! My name is Potato and I'm looking for a fun owner who likes to play and cuddle. I am a playful and outgoing kitten with a heart full of love! I am always the first to explore new places and make new friends. I am adventurous and never miss a chance to chase after a toy or pounce on a stray feather.

Despite my lively nature, I am also incredibly affectionate. I love nothing more than curling up in a warm lap, purring contentedly as I receives pets and cuddles. Whether I'm greeting visitors with a cheerful meow or snuggling up for a cozy nap, I have a knack for making everyone feel loved and welcome. With my friendly demeanor and loving personality, I am sure to bring joy and warmth to my new family.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
