My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Ernie. I was living with my favorite human with another cat friend but unfortunately they had to surrender me to HAWS. As you can imagine, the shelter environment is really different then my prior home so I got really shy and hid in my cubby for my first few weeks. One of the neat things HAWS did for me was to reunite me with Percy (one of my former housemates) in hopes I might flourish again with a familiar friend. Now Percy and I live in the small colony room (with some younger cats too to help me build my confidence). Percy has helped me regain trust after I lost my home ... and I need him. When we're settled in with you, I can assure you we will be very loving. I think you like having us both as your new roommates! So if you are a patient person, wanting to open your home to two great guys like us, please come meet us today!

Ernie will likely do best in a quiet home without young children.
