ABOUT LUKE
Meet Luke, our handsome four-year-old buff boy! This sweet guy came to HAP when his owners were unable to care for him. While coming to the shelter can be a big change for any cat, Luke has taken it all in stride! Luke is a super sweet boy who loves attention! He loves to follow his people friends around and curl up next to them. He loves to look out the window and he's a big fan of hunting bugs! He is a little bit of a player, but mostly he's a lover. He also enjoys eating grass!

*Luke gets along with other cats, but does not like dogs or children.

**If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Our adoption process is designed to help you and your family find the perfect match in a pet. When the right match is made, we strive to conduct our adoptions thoughtfully, transparently, and with the utmost respect. You can view and submit an adoption questionnaire online ahead of your visit by going to our website: humaneanimalpartners.org. A questionnaire is not required to come visit us, but we will have you fill one out if interested in meeting with our animals. We strive to make the best match possible for you and for the animals. Most of our pets can go home same-day and come vaccinated, spay/neutered, and microchipped.

We are located in Newark (Christiana), Delaware. Come visit us at 455 Stanton-Christiana Road, Newark (Route 7 behind Royal Farms and Border Cafe)! We're open 6 days a week: Tuesday 12-7, Wednesday thru Sunday 12-5. We are closed on Mondays.
