Taylor is our enchanting Tortie princess who has blossomed into a confident and playful companion since joining us in May 2024. Born just after Christmas 2023, Taylor once faced life on the streets, but she now knows how to command attention in the most delightful ways.

With her captivating coat of vibrant colors and her stunning greenish-gold eyes, Taylor is as beautiful as she is sassy. This little diva knows what she wants and isn’t shy about asking for it! While she adores lap time and affection, she may let you know when she’s had enough, often with a playful nip.

Taylor thrives in our community room, where she enjoys playtime with her BFFs and relishes her independent moments, often curling up in a lap or stretching out a window to observe her surroundings.

Interview

Once an application is received an Adoption Counselor will call to discuss your preferences and set up a "Meet & Greet" appointment.

Meet the Pet

A cat or kitten can go home the same day as a "meet & greet".

4.
Home Check

At our discretion, a home visit may be required. Adopters agree to keep cat(s) indoors only and to not declaw.

Additional adoption info

We offer "Meet & Greets" by appointment. To schedule an appointment to meet our cats/kittens please go to peterzippifund.org and submit the online adoption application form. A link is located on the right-hand side of our Home Page. Once received, an Adoption Counselor will contact you within 72 hours or less to book your appointment.

Adoption Fee: $125.00

Our adoption fee generally covers everything your new feline friend needs to start their journey with you:

*Spaying or Neutering: Ensuring the well-being of our cats and controlling the pet population.
*Microchipping: A permanent identification method to keep your furry friend safe.
*Vaccinations: Up-to-date vaccines tailored to the specific needs of each cat.
*Fecal Testing and Deworming: A comprehensive approach to intestinal health.
*Viral Testing (FeLV/FIV): Conducted on all adults and most kittens based on their origin.
*Comprehensive Blood Work: For many of our adult cats, ensuring their overall current health.

In addition to all standard treatments outlined above, many of our cats and kittens have received costly treatment for other maladies that result from abandonment or starting life on the streets.

Of course, if you would like to make a larger donation to help cover our care for the homeless cats, we would be delighted. All donations over the adoption fee are tax deductible.

In memory of Peter Zippi, a young man dedicated to the care of animals, The Peter Zippi Memorial Fund For Animals was founded in 1977 by Dr. Alice Villalobos. We have adopted out over 14,000 pets (mostly cats) since then. The fund is run by wonderful volunteers who work tirelessly to help those who can't help themselves. The fund sponsors spay/neuter vouchers to qualified persons, and shelter for and adoptions of lost and homeless animals.
