My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Posh Spice was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement Team.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Posh Spice, a sweet girl seeking a low-key lifestyle. If you enjoy leisurely walks around the park, hanging out at home and quiet companionship, you and Posh will be best buds! Though she enjoys her peaceful moments, she's also known for her zoomies-these bursts of energy will make you smile as she zips around! Posh loves chasing after balls, although she's not much for bringing them back-she's just in it for the chase. She's a loving companion who enjoys giving sweet kisses to those she trusts. Posh Spice is a fan of puzzle toys and snuffle mats, which keep her mind engaged and help her relax. She would thrive in a quiet home where she can unwind, play at her own pace, and shower you with affection. Her perfect home would be one without other dogs or young children, but with lots of cozy spaces to rest, yummy treats and, most importantly, a loving family of her own! If you're looking for a fun-loving pup with a lot of heart, Posh Spice may be the perfect match for you! Come meet her today!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
