My name is Jolene!

Jolene is a medium-ish, super low energy couch potato. When inside, you may mistake her for a sofa cushion but outside, she presents as a garden gnome basking in the sun. She enjoys other pups but prefers a slow intro as she can be shy. She's also content as an only dog. We think she would be great with kids but cats are a no go. Jolene is a dog that we rescued from the south, where heartworm is very prevalent. She did test positive and she is undergoing treatment with her second injection at the end of the month. She is available for adoption so long as somebody is willing to help get her to appointments going forward. All costs will be covered by the rescue.
