My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Josie and I am a nice looking Boxer / Labrador Retriever mixed breed female. I was invited to move to Country Dog Rescue because a Kentucky kill shelter was going to euthanize me and my five puppies. Someone at the kill shelter promised the nice lady at Country Dog Rescue that she would help re-home me after my babies were weaned but that help never materialized. The nice lady refuses to say that she was "stuck" with me because she says it is a joy and an honor to work with such a nice dog. I am a great dog to take off-lead for a run because I stay nearby and I come when I'm called. Right now I am practicing my sit-stay command because I have a tendancy to jump up to get the attention and love that I need. My personality is my best asset; the nice lady says that I have a heart of gold. I am spayed and fully vetted. Are you interested in fostering or adopting me?
