Hello there! I'm Neytiri, a sweet and loving pup with a heart of gold. I've lived with other dogs before, and I know how to get along with them. However, with my energy, I'm not a good fit for a household with small children. I need a home where my humans can give me the attention and space I crave. I'm working on my leash manners, but I get a bit excited and pull sometimes. Don't worry, I'm still learning! When I'm off-leash, I'm a total sweetheart - friendly and affectionate. I love people and enjoy getting belly rubs and snuggles. Find me a quiet home with understanding humans and no young children, and I'll be your loyal companion forever.
I'm staying in a quieter part of the shelter and you won't see me in the main dog kennels, so please ask the Adoption Center staff to bring me out to meet you!
I am also eligible for a scholarship through GoodPup, which is a four week training program that will help me to learn my manners and build confidence. Be sure to ask about this when you meet me!
Medical history: I'm on a bit of medication to help with my anxiety here at the shelter, but I'm otherwise a healthy adult! I should see my new vet as soon as possible to establish care.
