My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dozer is just a puppy! He is a lab mix and will get approx. 60lbs when he grows up.
His family will have to take the time to crate train, potty train, and teach him basic manners.
Dozer can be skittish in the beginning, but once he warms up, he is a love bug! He loves to be close to you. Dozer is still learning to walk on the leash, sometimes he gets nervous and plants his feet, but once hes walking; he does great!

More about this shelter

New Hope Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization servicing Volusia County Florida since 1955.
Our policy is no-kill. We will NOT euthanize an animal to make room or to reduce pet overpopulation. “adoptable” means an animal is healthy and well-adjusted, not ill or injured, and can be safely made available to the public for adoption. We reserve the right to refuse admission due to space availability, or if the animal is dangerous, in poor health, or otherwise deemed un-adoptable.
