Woof, woof! My name is Missy and I am a very sweet beagle puppy that was recently surrendered to Penny Angels. The other dog in my previous home did not get along with me. Perhaps I just had too much puppy energy! I was born on 3-17-24. Right now, I weigh approx. 7 lbs. but will, of course, get bigger. I have received 2 distemper vaccinations so far. I am waiting to be scheduled for my spay surgery and will be microchipped at that time. I might need more vaccinations after I am adopted. Everything will be reviewed with my new mommy or daddy when they adopt me.
I am an adorable girl! I am truly a bundle of cuteness rolled into a precious little beagle body. I love other dogs and enjoy playing with them. If you have another playful dog in your home, we will have lots of fun together! I can also learn a lot of things from another doggie brother or sister. I would benefit from puppy training so that I can grow up to be a well-mannered adult. I am crate-trained and appear to be pee-pad potty trained. I will still need to learn new housetraining rules in YOUR home. Using a crate is one way to help me learn your house rules. A crate is also a safe place for me to relax when you are not able to watch me. At my age, I will need to potty approx. every few hours, but that time will increase as I get older and as you work with me. Don’t leave me outside by myself and only take me outside for short periods of time if the weather is hot or rainy.
I should be supervised at all times when I am not crated so that I don’t get into any trouble. Most puppies have a curious nature, so please be patient with me as you teach me right from wrong, (in a firm but gentle way). Safe puppy toys will keep me occupied but I sure do hope that you will want to spend lots of extra snuggle time with me. Are you ready to share your life with me? Adopting a puppy is a lifetime commitment, so please adopt me ONLY IF you have adequate time to spend with me every day AND you are willing to make a lifetime commitment to my care!

The application is available at www.pennyangelsbeaglerescue.com. (It is possible that an approved adopter will be able to foster Missy while she waits for her spay surgery. The adoption paperwork will be completed after that time.)
