Fred is A Sweet And Stunning Kitten With The Most Beautiful Markings!! He and his sibling sister were strays at the municipal shelter. They were found in the baseball field of a local park. A Good Samaritan brought them to the shelter and we brought them to our rescue. Like all kittens, Fred is quite an adventurer finding new places to climb and explore. Each day is a new adventure to take on! He is quite happy to give a cuddle with person or his sister before he moves on to his next adventure. If you're on the lookout for a furry friend to bring cuteness and fun into your life, Fred is all ears and ready to join you on the most delightful adventures!
Fred is fully vetted, He has been neutered, dewormed, vaccinated (age appropriate), microchipped, and is FIV/FELV negative. His adoption donation is $175.00.
He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family, Cats can live to be 25 years old so he wants to be sure all applicants will stick with him for better or for worse!
PLEASE NOTE: KITTENS UNDER 6 MONTHS MUST BE ADOPTED IN PAIRS! SOME CATS ALSO REQUIRE MATES. THE PAIRING IS FOR PROPER SOCIALIZATION OF THE KITTEN TO PREVENT SINGLE KITTEN SYNDROME. THIS IS FOR THE KITTEN'S FUTURE AS MUCH AS FOR YOURS. THIS KITTEN IS UNDER 6 MONTHS OLD.

To adopt any animal from Rescue Tails we require a completed and verified adoption application. Once we can review the application, we can set up a meet and greet. We ask that all members of the household including pets are available for us and prospective pet to meet. Providing that goes well, we will set an appointment with you for a home visit. If all goes well we can proceed to the final step of finalizing the adoption.

Rescue Tails Animal Welfare is dedicated to rehoming pets from high kill shelters. We choose an animal one at a time and evaluate what issues caused the animal to end up in the shelter and address those issues. Most often we find behavioral issues and/or medical issues . We deal with whatever it is to the best of our ability and then place the pet up for adoption to a responsible pet guardian. It is our goal to prevent the pet from returning to the system again. We work with the pets and carefully match them to their forever homes.
