Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Emmy, a young feline with a gentle heart. She arrived at our rescue a little on the timid side, but don`t let that fool you. Over time, she`s shown us just how resilient she can be. She`s a sweet, shy soul, always preferring quiet corners over bustling activity. Yet, with patience and care, Emmy has started to trust more, revealing her independent spirit. She`s not the type to demand constant attention, but she`ll surprise you with her affection when you least expect it. Emmy is a testament to the power of love and patience, a beacon of hope and resilience. She`s ready to find a quiet forever home where she can continue her journey of trust and love. Emmy deserves a family that will cherish her for who she is, and in return, she`ll reward you with her unique brand of quiet love and companionship.

All adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 72 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 72 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application.
Canine Adoption Fees:
$450 for puppies under 1 year of age
$375 for dogs over 1 year & under 7 years
$300 for dogs 7 years and older
Feline Adoption Fees:
$250 for kittens and cats up to 12 months old
$200 for cats between 1-6 years old
$150 for cats 6 years old and older
Adoption fees help offset the cost to our organization of providing full medical care (including spay or neuter surgery) to each animal we adopt to a furever home.
