Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Bolton our youthful adolescent torti! Tortoiseshell kitties have a reputation for being strong-willed and hot tempered, but not this sweet girl here. Bolton is shy at first after growing up on the streets, but she found a safe place at a shelter where she had her babies. Now she is ready for a loving home of her own. Bolton is jumpy around lots of noise, but once she is confident in her environment she can be quite the lover. It was obvious to us that this girl didn't know how to play as she was unsure what to do with toys or how to be loved. Now she will play with both the laser and feather wand, and meow for attention. She will walk over and rub on our legs for pets, and if we don't respond to her she gives us a love nibble on the calf or top of the foot. Bolton flops over kneading the air and purring for you to pet her. She enjoys cuddles, but doesn't like to feel trapped or held down. While a bit shy with people, Bolton loves other animals from our handsome orange cat and our older gremlin cat, to our patient and playful German Shepherds. Bolton's best friend right now is definitely our orange cat; she likes to follow him around and play. She would likely adjust best in a home with another pet to show her the ropes, or with patient people to let her feel comfortable in a new environment. Bolton has shown us the most confidence and comfort when meeting other furry friends. If you are looking for a sweet girl who could fit right in sunbathing and snuggling on the couch, Bolton is just the kitty!
