Dallas and Mr Cooper ❤️
These two sweet boys lived with their owner until he could no longer keep them. So he owner surrendered them to Memphis Animal Shelter thinking they would be adopted out. They didn't tell him that owner surrenders are among the first dogs to be put down, killed, or euthanized. Whatever you choose to call it, they were in trouble as they went straight on the kill list. They played on our hearts and their story was so sad, we had to help. So we committed to saving them and finding them a new home. They are being temp fostered and need a full time foster or adopter. The rescue pays for everything.

Mr Cooper is the dad (black and white) and older. Dallas is his son. They are adjusting to being out of the shelter, that's a scary loud place for anyone. But all they had ever known was home.

Cooper likes to cuddle. He’s a little fearful though. The lady Dallas is friendly but doesn’t like to be petted as much. He also needs to gain some weight. They are safe for now but need a foster quickly!
