My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Named after the rarest orange in nature, female orange tabby cats are rather rare (only 1 out of every 5). Our sweet Honeybell is very affectionate, tolerant of the other pets in her current foster home. But, longs for a permanent family of her own. She is a healthy, spayed female, current on all vaccinations and microchipped. She is also FelvFiv negative.

To ensure the right fit for both Pet and family, all of our adoptions are ’foster-to-adopt’. This means that, whatever the reason, we will always accept the pet back to our care, in one of our homes (not a cage at a boarding facility or shelter) if the adopter(s) has a change of heart or circumstance. This is one of the many benefits of opting to adopt from a local Rescue organization over a store purchase or shelter Adoption.

East Coast Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, where all donations are tax-deductible. Receipts available upon request. 305-916-EAST(3278) info@eastcoastpetrescue.org;

More about this rescue

We are dedicated to pet adoption and uniting domestic animals with appropriate and responsible owners who will provide shelter and care for the life of the pet. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals who were previously abandoned, surrendered, unwanted or injured. This includes investigation, research, safe transport, humane trapping, providing short- and long-term foster care, sufficient nutrition, preventive and medical attention, and any other forms of necessity that a reasonable and responsible veterinarian recommends to provide and maintain high quality of life for the pet. The adoption process is thorough yet linear to ensure the pet will be placed in a safe and loving environment with a family that is physically, emotionally, and financially equipped to provide the necessary care he or she needs to live the happy and safe healthy live he or she deserves.
