My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Chihuahua mix
Male, 13 years old (estimated), 8 pounds

Custard is a sweet and dreamy senior fellow ready to melt right into your arms. We don't know what his life was like before joining POMDR, but we do know it can only get better from here! This loving boy absolutely adores being in the company of human companions. If it were up to him, he would spend his days curled up in his bed near his people. His foster reports that he has been a perfect pooch to have around, as he doesn't mind being left alone, sleeps well through the night, and has some of the softest fur around.

This easy keeper has arthritis and toddles around with a funny gait, but he does have the occasional zoomies which is always a treat to see! Due to his arthritis-related mobility issues, we recommend a home with minimal stairs to keep him comfortable. This mellow and gentle guy gets along great with other dogs and is always very polite when meeting new friends, human and canine alike.

Handsome Custard joined us from Ventura County Animal Services along with several other senior pups who hitched a flight up to us due to the shelter there being over capacity.
