Meet Charlie! She is a 2 year old, 42 pound, large mixed breed pup who came to us all the way from Afghanistan! Now that she has completed her long journey to the midwest, she's getting the hang of life as an indoor pet, but she will take some additional time to settle when she is adopted! Charlie seems to get along better with the male dog in her foster home, and she's very friendly and happy to meet new human friends. She is already potty trained but she's quite sick of being crated after her long travels and we can't blame her for that but don't worry she won't chew things up when being left alone! Charlie loves to play in the yard. She is happiest running around, rolling in the grass, or chasing a tennis ball. Charlie would love to join an active family with kids to play with! We are a foster home only rescue, based out of St. Charles, IL., but we have meet and greet events with our adoptable dogs almost every weekend all throughout the northwest suburbs where you can come to meet our pups!
