My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location; Mapleton, MN

Meet Josie! This brown hair green eyed girl is anxiously awaiting for her furever family to find her and take her home.

This sweet girl was found alone with some of her siblings and never knew how it was to live in a home until a few weeks ago. When she arrived at her foster home she was scared of humans and would run from us. Today she is running to us when we come through the door. With the help of her fur siblings she is becoming a confident and outgoing puppy.

Josie loves to play with her foster siblings outside but is content exploring on her own too. She has discovered toys are a lot of fun too.

One of Josie's favorite things to do is eat. We have to feed Josie with a slow bowl right now because she eats like every meal might be her last. Josie was very underweight when she arrived in rescue so she likely had to fight for most of her food. To help Josie feel safe while eating we have been feeding her in her kennel for now too.

Since Josie is a puppy her new family will need to be willing to ut the time in to work with her to learn basic commands. Well behaved dogs make the best family dogs. Since Josie is very food motivated she should be easy to train.

If you are looking for a new puppy to add to your family and think Josie sounds like a good fit please full out an application.
Josie would love to meet you.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
