My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Azalea is a lovely cat! She came to us with her babies and raised them the best she could. She was sick, skinny, dehydrated, and full of bloody scratches and scabs from fleas. Azalea gave every bit of herself to care for her babies. Now that they are weaned, she is gaining some weight (she is just 6 lbs.). Her scabs are almost entirely gone and her fur is growing back beautifully. She is one of the friendliest and most affectionate cats ever. She gets along with other cats and with dogs and loves to rub on everyone. She deserves a home where she can be loved, spoiled, and treasured!

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
