My name is Twiggy!

Miss Twiggy is a 3 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who weighs about 15 lbs. She loves to play with toys and is very active & lovable. She enjoys laying in the sun or will lay next to you while watching TV. She gets along with other dogs and absolutely loves people. She eats and sleeps in her crate. She is kennel trained and we believe she's house trained. Kind of hard to tell since her current foster has multiple dogs and a doggy door, which she knows how to use. She is also great on a leash, loves going for long walks and loves going on golf cart rides! :)

Twiggy tested positive for heartworms and Ehrlichia (tick disease) in February. We suggest she be retested for heartworms in 6 months. She has since been treated for both. She is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines. At the time of her spay, we had her dew claws removed on both back legs.

Twiggy is being fostered in Harlingen, TX but will make the trip to the east coast for an approved adopter.
