This is Brick! He is estimated to be 3-5 years old. He is a pit-mix of some sort. He is male and recently neutered. He has had his first round of vaccines (DHLPP, Rabies, Flu, Bordetella) and will have his boosters in a few days. I am willing to drive to meet anyone interested in Virginia, but he is located in Richmond currently.
He is great with dogs, loves to play and cuddle. He is good with cats once he gets over the initial excitement. We have only passed kids on our walks but he has been good with them and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body.
Additional information about Brick ❤️ He was found wandering onto 95 and we are thinking he was probably dumped. He’s estimated to be about 3-5 years old, he was neutered on 5/16 and his bloodwork all looked perfect. Heartworm negative! He is about 42 lbs. Very affectionate and well mannered, gets along great with our female pittie who is dog selective. He is mostly house trained, only a few minor accidents since we’ve had him (and currently being house trained with us).
He just wants to be touching someone at all times, very snuggly with humans and our pittie. No signs of food or toy aggression. However, he does love toys and treats, very good motivators for training. Doesn’t pull on a leash but does need some basic directional training like recall and basic commands. Overall a perfect boy with no health problems that just needs a good home. We unfortunately can’t finance 2 dogs and we can only watch him for a few more weeks before we have to take him to a shelter because of our housing restrictions. Please help find this sweet boy a home ❤️
