ADOPTED ON 05-31-24 Our German shepherd rescue is proud to present for adoption the lovable and handsome "Amos". This guy is a 2-year-old male with a very striking coat, strong frame, top weight around 80-85 pounds and a true zest for life. Amos, like most of my dogs, had a very rough start but he made the choice to embrace the future. We all get a kick watching Amos in his evolution, full of life, inquisitive, happy go lucky, basically a clown in a dog suit! This boy has a perfect stride, has perfect symmetry, great muscle tone and is poetry in motion. We have found nothing that this guy cannot get along with, loves kids, loves people, and loves other dogs and anything else that will play with him.
Overall, Amos is what we call a "Velcro dog", if you are moving, he will be on your heels, he is the definition of love and commitment. As you would expect this boy handled our socialization and training programs with little problem. Our program revealed in Amos a strong desire to please, a strong desire to train, deep commitment, high intelligence and a strong but in control protective instinct. Almost any family that is willing to put in the effort to exercise, train, love and open their heart to Amos will be rewarded with a fabulous new family member.
