Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Dobby came to us a weak little frail puppy with a soft tissue injury to his left shoulder - he came to us on 5/13/24 and this little guy has blossomed and is doing amazing - amazing what proper vet care and lots of tlc can do - and Dobby is proof of that.
He is ready to find a family to call his own and he is going to bring so much joy to some lucky family. We are not sure of Dobby's breed - possibly a lab mix of some sort or as we like to say a "lovable mutt" and loveable he is. He is estimated to be 5 months old and currently weighs 25 pounds, so not going to be a huge dog - just the right size as we do not think he will be over 50 pounds (but again that is just an estimate). Dobby is smart smart boy , doing well with his crate training and housebreaking but he is just a puppy so patience and consistency is the key with any puppy - he does great with other dogs and would love to have a playmate or some kids to play with. He loves loves loves his toys and will keep himself occupied playing with them for a while. His personality is amazing - he is a fun loving little guy that is going to keep a smile on your face
If you are interested in adopting Dobby, the first step is going to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and filling out our adoption application - we do NOT set up meet and greets until the adoption application is filled out and reviewed.
Dobby's adoption fee is $250.00 - he has had all age appropriate vaccines and the rescue will pay for his remaining puppy vaccines as well as his neuter, he has had a full bloodwork panel done, dewormed, microchipped and is current on his monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick medication.
And as a reminder we do not have a facility - all of our dogs are in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina .
So get to the website and fill out that adoption application - you won't be sorry because this little guy is amazing
