My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a great dog and we've had the pleasure of having him in our lives for 7 years.

Over the past couple years, our lives have become extremely busy and we have not had the time to devote to Max besides meeting his basic needs.

Max is in excellent health and is approximately 7-8 years old. He has an extremely high energy and loves to play all day.

The ideal family for Max would be one who doesn't have to leave him alone all day when they go to work or have at least a few hours of time dedicated to intense play - sadly, due to circumstances out of our control, we've had neither opportunity.

Max is potty trained, does not destroy furniture and property, extremely smart, and gets along extremely well with other kids and other pets. Due to Max's smaller build, I don't recommend housing him with a larger dog unless they are gentle.

Max has been a wonderful part of our lives and I hope to find the perfect home to give him the love and attention he deserves.
