Meet Sweet Kermit! Once the tiniest of his litter, Kermit has grown into a bundle of joy you can’t resist. This playful and energetic pup is not only adorable but incredibly smart. He's already crate trained and housebroken, making him a breeze to care for. Kermit’s favorite pastime? Splashing around in the puppy pool and having a blast with his foster brothers. He absolutely adores people and is sure to bring endless love and fun to any family lucky enough to welcome him home.

Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home. Many never even had a home and were born on the streets. WE gave them a chance. Every animal deserves a chance.

We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for. We believe in our local and out of state applicants. There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest & East Coast every 2 weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters, and we need more like them. No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest, the East Coast or Canada we welcome you! If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts? Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes, our rescue is in Houston. Our available animals live with foster families. This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one. We do have foster homes in your area. This is why you can see our posts. Unfortunately Meet & Greets has been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions. Almost all our animal travel has been adopted. Hi!! I'm Kali founder of Spring Branch Rescue. Thanks for looking at our many amazing and loving animals ready for adoption.

We live in Houston a city that has an animal crisis. We rescue, offer medical care, rehabilitate via our foster program, and adopt those who joined our rescue. We are thankful for people like you that are willing to give them a home full of love.

We are not a shelter. We are 100% foster based. Our amazing foster parents work daily to make sure their fosters decompress, socialize, and are part of their family.
This makes your adoption transition into your home so much easier.

Why are you able to see our postings? We have fosters in your area. We offer transport from Houston to a city near you every 2 weeks. We have drivers with years of experience in animal rescue.

Due to Covid restrictions we had to stop all meet & greets to keep our volunteers safe from getting sick (or their family). We will put you in contact with the foster parent to ask any questions and also video chat.

We will conduct a phone interview to get to know you better and your needs. This is the only way to have a sucessful adoption.

Are you ready? Let's get started.

1) Go to www.springbranchrescue.org and complete an adoption application. We must see that first and review it. A phone interview will follow shortly after. We need the application to make sure it's a great fit for both you and our adoptable animal.

2) Prices for adoption and transport will be listed on our application. When you adopt out of town we will add the transport fee on top of the adoption fee.

3) Each adopted pet will have all shots up to date, microchip, and will a health certificate from our local vet. They are healthy and happy.

December 15 to January 5, 2023
WE have lowered our prices for the next couple of weeks as a way to offer those a loving home for Christmas. We hope to find some really great homes and open up some foster homes for those in need.

Puppies & Kittens $300 (Up to 1 Year Old)
All others 13 months and older $250

Transport Fee: If you are adopting outside of Houston there will be an additional $100 transport fee added to the adoption fee

Hello CANADIAN applicants. You can adopt from us, but you will be picking up in Bellingham, WA. That is about 20 minutes south of Peace Arch Park (Blaine, WA). You must be able to enter the US.

Please take a look at all our adoptable babies. Your search only pulls up some, but we have many others. We ask that you have 2 choices. Each of our animals received multiple applications.
