Jules is a very loving five-and-a-half-year-old Hound mix, but his fur and tail suggest another breed is in there too, but we are just not sure what! Jules weighs 68 pounds; he is up to date on vaccines and neutered. He certainly wants to be your center of attention! He is house trained, and he doesn’t bother you while sleeping at night. He will wait until you get up to go outside. He is also very smart and already knows how to sit, shake and lie down for a treat. He is very happy to meet new people and trusts new people very quickly.
We have found that while Jules is okay around other dogs, he would prefer to be the only dog in the home for his comfort, but he would do well on walks, going to breweries, but not so much at dog parks. He is ready for a long love-life with a loving family he can call his own.
**Some pictures of Jules maybe from when he was around one years old.
If you are interested in adopting Jules, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
