.Meet Satin, the purrfectly adorable young male kitten with jet black fur and eyes that could melt even the coldest hearts.

This little feline Adonis was discovered under the hood of a car, but he's no worse for the wear. Satin is a happy boy with a heart of gold. He has been around dogs and doesn't mind them too much. With a nice slow introduction, he will be fine in a home with other pets.

Satin is not just a beauty; he's also a cuddle bug, always looking for some love. He gives the best hugs and loves sleeping on your shoulder. Whenever someone comes into the Cattery he asks to be held. If you walk to close to a cat tree, Satin just might jump on your shoulder for a bit and some love, purring all the while.

With his silky fur and playful antics, Satin is sure to steal your heart and bring endless joy and laughter to your home.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
