Introducing the cutest dragon you would ever want to adopt - Cinder!
He was born in the year of the Dragon, so we thought it was fitting to give him a proper dragon name. Per the Internet, which we all know is always to be believed, Cinderax – from ‘cinder’, the remains of a fire, and a fierce suffix. Cinder is a more reserved and elegant charcoal colored boy. He enjoys running, jumping, wrestling and snuggling with his brother, Marble. He is very sweet and loving and just wants to climb in your lap to cuddle and purr. Cinder is ever so brave and loves to explore and meet new people, cats, dogs and even tortoises! He loves his brother, Marble, and they enjoy running, playing, wrestling and snuggling together. Cinder is a good eater and a champion litter box user. As noted above, he is used to other cats (adults and kittens), large dogs and people (adults and children). He is also used to the Roomba although he is not yet brave enough to ride on it.
Cinder was rescued during a rainstorm from a vacant property in Glendora, where he is currently being fostered. The weekend of June 21-22, 2024, Cinder will be neutered, receive his final vaccinations and will be ready to be adopted and go to his forever home.

More about this rescue
We began as a mobile adoption unit for a local humane society and then realized we could help even more dogs and cats in need if we became a 501 (c)(3). FLA Rescue was formed. Over the years, we have met incredible individuals and families who have opened their hearts and homes to hundreds of dogs and cats in need of love and a fresh start. We love it when we get updates - from pictures to visits in-person - from past adopters and adoptees. We believe that people who adopt dogs and cats in need are truly special individuals. We feel lucky to volunteer our time for animals and help people like you find a dog or cat who will bring joy to your life.
