Meet Keen! This adorable boy quickly became a staff favorite, with his adorable underbite, playful mannerisms, and his insistence on receiving love and pets. Keen will use his mouth to hold onto you, until you give in and give him attention and/or pick him up. This boy is such an attention hog, that he will follow you around, nipping at your pant legs, shirt hem, finger tips, or anything he can get to, to show you how much he is waiting for your attention to be given to him. If you are looking for a special pet, that makes getting lonely nearly impossible, apply to meet Keen today!

All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home.

Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.

If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment. 530-895-8888

Step 2: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
Fill out an application at wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com and
call to schedule an appointment 530-895-8888

Step 3: APPROVAL, PAYMENT, & PICKUP
Your new family member can be picked up if you're approved and the animal is spayed or neutered. Payment of the adoption fee is required to reserve the pet. Adoption fees vary for each dog, puppy, cat and kitten.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all breed, NO KILL, animal rescue organization, incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer driven group with a number years experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in Willows and Chico, California.

We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
