On June 29, Anne participated in an event at a local golf course. She was great getting in/out of car and rode quietly in back seat. Anne performed beautifully and got along well with other dogs (large and small) as well as all people that stopped to give her pets. She walks great on a leash and sat quietly next to her handler for a couple hours. She may be a little shy at first but is showing to be very confident in new surroundings and affectionate with people. She also loves running around the shelter play yards and jumping in and out of the kiddie pools. She arrived at the shelter with Andy (A861297). If you have a dog who is looking for a friend, bring it to the shelter for a meet and greet to see if they are a match.
Anne recently met some social dogs in our shelter playgroups and did fine. But she was pretty uncomfortable and didn`t want to participate much. We hope as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups she`ll be ready to show us her silly side with doggy friends. Here`s a short video of her playgroup time:
