Meet Tsisana, a petite former community cat who has embraced the comforts of indoor living after raising her five kittens. With her little ones now settled in their forever homes, it’s Tsisana’s turn to find hers! Tsisana will blossom into a loyal companion once she trusts you. She adores being petted and brushed and seeks companionship, even if she sometimes needs a break to recharge.

Although Tsisana isn't a lap cat yet, she shows her affection by leaning against you and following you around. She will meow for attention if she feels ignored, but her vocabulary is vast—a charming array of meows, trills, and hums, making her quite the conversationalist.

Patience is key with Tsisana, as she needs extra time to build trust. It might take her a while to warm up, but once she does, it’s like flipping a switch—from hissing to purring and rolling on her back for belly rubs. She craves touch and loves being petted.

Tsisana is learning to appreciate soft spots to lay on, moving from the hardwood floor to a blanket, and now to a pillow. She loves wet food, treats, and goes wild for Churu.

Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
