Wendy is such a little doll! She has a pixie face that will certainly stay with her so she will always look like a kitten. We love this girl so much! She is sweet, kind to others, and loves attention. Wendy is a petite girl that walks a little like a body builder. Hard to explain but 100% adorable!
This kitty is an FIP Survivor.
Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) was once 100% fatal, but a group of dedicated volunteers and veterinary medicine professionals began using an underground, experimental drug a few years ago and have had terrific success. In 2023 about 80% of cats diagnosed and treated are being saved. In Summer of 2024 the drug became legal for USA vets to prescribe and treat.
Wendy was treated and now CURED of this disease. It is not contagious and does NOT require lifelong treatment or medications. The only "extra" factor when adopting a survivor is that regular vet check-ups are essential to keep Wendy healthy and happy.
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process to add Wendy to your family. Please allow our adoption team time to process the info and check references. They will communicate with you primarily thru email, so be sure to watch your inbox and check your spam folder for messages. Upon approval, a volunteer will call to arrange a private appointment to meet Wendy and the cats.
