For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everybody! This super hunk of golden love is named Mr. Chatty. Mr. Chatty was brought to the shelter along with his bestie (possibly sister, Char) after getting lost on an adventure on 6/4. Char has now been adoptd. Mr. Chatty is shy in the his kennel but becomes very happy once you get him out. He is super smart as he knows sit when asked. He is also quite the gentleman while walking nicely on a leash. Mr. Chatty is quiet in his kennel and he just the sweetest, little guy. He is very affectionate, very playful, and gives the most adorable hugs and supply the sweetest kisses. He also can be quite the chatterbox while having his pictures taken. Please give this lovebug a second chance at a happy life with you. It is all he has ever wished for. He has a lot of love and loyalty left in his gas tank. Can you please grant that wish for Mr. Chatty? He is waiting for you to take him home and love him forever. Please don't let this boy spend his remaining years in a crowded shelter.
Mr. Chatty is current on vaccines, will be neutered, microchipped and heart worm tested upon his adoption. He is a nice size of 44lbs and is just 8 years old. He is more than ready for his second chance at a great family. Mr. Chatty will be waiting for you in Run 29 and his ID is 658277.

You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
