Meet Cupcake! Cupcake has very obviously been through a rough start to life, and it shows with her cowardice towards people; Cupcake is scared of people when they approach her and/or speak loudly around her. She does well with other dogs, and prefers to be another dog, or a pack of dogs where she can feel safe and secure. Cupcake would do great as an "alarm dog" alerting you to visitors and/or trespassers that enter your home and/or property. She knows how to use a doggy door, and will adjust to routines easily. Cupcake would do best in a home without small children, so that she is not chased around, causing undue stress and possible aggression. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
