Meet Dopey, an affectionate tabby boy who's eager to find his forever home. Dopey absolutely loves cuddles and will happily curl up on your lap. He's incredibly loving and enjoys being around people, especially if treats are involved.
Though he's a sweetheart, Dopey can get quite stressed around other cats, so he would thrive as the only feline in your home or with just one easygoing companion. He also finds large male cats a bit overwhelming.
Dopey's ideal home would be one with an apartment or co-op setting, or somewhere with multiple doors to ensure his escape artist tendencies are kept in check. Despite his perfect qualities, he's still a bit curious about the outdoors.
If you're looking for a loyal and loving feline friend, Dopey might just be the perfect match for you!

We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
