Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Isaac is a wonderful 9-year-old dog with a heart of gold. As he enters his golden years, he dreams of finding a forever home where he can be the center of attention and receive all the love and care he deserves. Isaac would thrive best in a household where he is the only dog, ensuring he gets all the cuddles, treats, and pampering he craves. This loyal and gentle companion is ready to spend his senior years basking in the lap of luxury, bringing joy and warmth to a family who can appreciate his loving nature. If you have the perfect home for Isaac, he promises to fill it with unconditional love and companionship.

More about this shelter
Concern over a large, and ever increasing, population of homeless dogs and cats, instigated the opening of the Monroe County Animal Shelter.
A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the shelter by providing volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
