My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gretel is a 1 year old, beautiful female German Shepherd. This gentle little angel is simply a dream. After coming to us after being left in a field to fend for herself with a severe medical condition, she had to really rally up and overcome dire odds. But guess what? She came through like a little warrior and is 100% healed up with no complications whatsoever (details can be provided upon request).
Now, let's talk about how much we simply adore this angel. Gretel loves all dogs and all people! She can be a little bit timid / shy from time to time but we find that endearing to her gentle personality. She absolutely loves other dogs and all people. She has also been introduced to cats! Gretel comes to us with little experience out in the world so she is ready for her forever person to show her all of the wonderful things in life to experience. We just know that day by day she will gain more and more confidence and trust, she is going to thrive! Gretel absolutely loves to play with toys and we really do hope that she finds a home with another playful dog! She loves her walks, her tummy rubs, and her soft bed. Gretel is very intelligent, engaging, and easy to train. In spite of being let down by humans, she will give you her trust and her love, her beautiful smile and all of her gorgeous personality.
