My name is Johnny Boy and I am a handsome Black Lab mix puppy born on March 29th and my beautiful Momma raised 12 of us puppies and never lost one of us in the litter. A rare feat for so many puppies to nurse one 48 pound momma dog. She is a kind Mountain Cur mix girl that has passed along her wonderful outlook and intelligence to us all. Everyone that is fostering us in separate foster homes now (12 was way too much for one foster mom after we turned 6 weeks) says that we are very special puppies with great manners and good energy that is not over the top hyper. We are focused and we love to sit on your lap and receive all the love and praise that a human would like to give us. As you can see I have a shiny coat of solid black and we assume that since all 12 of us were black in color, that our dad was a good sized black Lab boy. I am expected to be a 60 pound Lab and maybe a little more. I am learning manners now and I am being exposed to children and all sorts of dogs big and small. We are receiving all the vetting that is needed as we grow big and strong. Shots, deworming, really good puppy chow and of course….love and hugs from our foster family. I love to play chase, sleep on the dog bed with another dog if you have one and I love to cuddle on the sofa to watch some good movie. I am not scared, shy or afraid of anything. I enjoy people and I am going to learn how to walk on a leash so that I can explore the world with my future family who adopts me. Maybe I could go camping with someone this Summer! I am ready for adoption in Tennessee now or in the northeast area I could be on the van the last weekend of June. Just in time to celebrate our country’s holiday, Fourth of July!
