My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purrs, my name is Illy. I'm still learning to trust new people, but even though I'm a bit reserved, don't let that fool you. I love being pet, I'm just not super confident yet. When I see my foster siblings getting attention, I use my sweet little cry to tell my foster mama that I want attention too. I just know that the right family (one that is patient and offers a quiet home) is out there for me. I do really well with other kitties and having another kitty helps me feel more confident. I may be slightly shy, but I'm as sweet as they come! RESCUE: My siblings and I were born to a feral mama. Thankful, the cat wranglers at Animal Rescue Connections were able to catch us when we were about 6 weeks old. I'm the bravest of my siblings and ready to grow up safely indoors with a loving family of my own. Purrs, Silly Illy

More about this rescue

Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
