My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BIO: Hey! Canoe here! I'm a sweet and somewhat shy kitty in search of a loving home. I may start off a bit reserved, but once you get to know me, you'll discover my heart is as soft as a marshmallow. Playfulness is woven into my whiskers, and I enjoy a good romp and chase with my foster siblings. Neck scratches? Count me in! They're my absolute favorite, and I'll reward you with loud purrs of gratitude. A cat tree is my favorite spot for lounging, and I'd love to make it my cozy retreat in your home. If you're ready to offer a gentle touch, and a bit of playtime, then I'd love to be a part of your family! RESCUE: I was rescued from a Canoe company off the river and got extremely sick, ARC nursed me back to health and realized I wasn't at all aggressive just a bit shy. Due to this, I am now in the running to find my furr-ever family!

More about this rescue

Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
