My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BIO: Hi, my name is Barb! I am looking forward to someone making me theirs. I am a little shy to begin with but as I learn to trust you, I relax and start to purr. I enjoy playing on the cat furniture, chasing toys and play fighting with my litter mates. My dream would be to get adopted with one of my siblings so we can play together. Please give me the chance I deserve for a loving family to call my own! RESCUE: My siblings and I had been caught in a small carrier and we were not let out for 2 days! Our captors did not know what to do but luckily someone recommended that they call ARC. You can imagine, we were in such a horrible state in that carrier and it was so very hot! We felt traumatized by this experience and didn't trust the humans; not even the ones who gently freed us out of the carrier. Since then, most of us have revised our opinions and have come to enjoy good food and cuddles.

More about this rescue

Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
