Hi there, I'm Candace. I'm a bit shy, but once I get to know you, I promise to be the sweetest companion. My past is a mystery, but that doesn't define me. I'm independent, I love exploring new places, sniffing out hidden treasures, and then curling up for a good nap. I might take a little while to warm up, but once I do, I'll be your loyal friend for life. I'm not the type to demand constant attention, but I do love a good belly rub.

See, I came to the shelter as a stray so my history is known. Older kids may be okay for me, but I tend to spook with loud noises and sudden movements so young energetic kiddos would probably be too much for me. As for other animals? Well, I just don't know. I haven't been around any so I don't know how I'd do.
