Hello!!! My name is Teddy and let me "tell" you! My foster mom has given me an indian name as well!! I am called, "The little dog who is short, brave and like to talk back a whole lot :)"
In other words, she LOVES ME!!! I mean SURE I am a talker, but if you want EVERYONE to know what you want and what you like... you can't be quiet!!
So here I am, Teddy the Talker... a super smart and sassy boy who keeps everyone on their toes (or I may chew them!!)
I am a youngster, only about 3 months old, I came in a sad and skinny kid but now I am thriving! Kind of like a plant, food/water/love, REPEAT!
I am ready for my FUREVER family and let me TELL you, I love KIDS, and other dogs and people and food and toys and....... all kinds of things! I am a boxer mixed boy with ears that flip flop all over the place and a personality that will keep you entertained. I just really want a fun and active family who will use my smarts to make me the best friend they could ever have.... just takes time and training and yes, a BUNCH of treats too please!
Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.
So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
