Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Interested in learning more about this sweet, adventurous boy? Please contact Carrie Bowman at 731-267-5535 or email cabowman67@yahoo.com for an application.
Meet Jay - a 3 year old, 49 pound, American Bulldog / Border collie mix boy who was found as a stray in Tennessee. Jay is an absolute love bug who is looking for his forever family. Jay is an active guy who loves to explore and go for long walks with his humans. Jay LOVES meeting new people - especially kids! He can be a bit timid after first, but once he warms up, he will smother you with kisses (just look at his pictures!)
His foster shares: Meet Jay who is a total love bug. Jay is looking for an active companion who will take him places like hiking, jogging, long walks, or even the beach. Jay loves his toy’s and especially his chew bone. He also loves exploring the field behind the foster home. Jay wants nothing more than to be loved and to give kisses. Jay would do good in a home with a submissive fur buddy that loves to play. If you enjoy being active outdoors and want a buddy to be with then Jay is perfect for you. He is an amazing boy. Loves everyone he meets. He would make a great hiking buddy for those summer adventures, loves wadding in creeks, and a true snuggle buddy on those rainy days. With summer right around the corner now is the time to make Jay your loyal companion!"

KEG Rescue is a small rescue . We work with several rescue group from New England to help adopt our pups/dogs and move them into GREAT homes. New England states have worked hard to pass great laws concerning spay/neuter. By passing these laws they there aren't as many "unwanted litters" in the New England States. There are several transport companies that bring southern rescue pups north to their new homes. KEG Rescue utilizesRed Fern Ranch Transport. Be sure to check them out on Facebook. They are sure to keep adopters updated as the transport is traveling.
Our adoptions are directly thru our website (although we do hope to expand to foster homes in New England if possible). it’s not possible to arrange a meeting of the pup before adoption. This type of adoption doesn't work for everyone and we would be happy to put you in touch with some of our sister groups who have pups on site. The adoption fee covers all of the vet work that has been performed prior to adoption. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate. If you are still interested in adopting from us, please email for an application. We have several adoption coordinators that process the applications and will contact you.

More about this rescue
KEG Rescue was started in 2009 and became a Chartered Non Profit on May 28, 2010. It started as a few people wanting to help the many unwanted puppies and dogs in our area. We are one of many rescues in this area as there are so many homeless pets. All our rescues have a common goal of educating the public about the importance of pet ownership and the benefits of spay/neuter
We do this by private adoptions from our site and also partner with other rescues in New England. We believe that these "throw aways" and "mistakes" deserve a forever home of their own.
WE receive our pups/dogs in many ways- we pull from several kill shelters, dogs that are abandoned, and from people who call who need to surrender their own dogs or whose dogs have had puppies. We also focus on not only the many puppies that are down south we also focus on adults that sometimes are harder to place because of their age/size. It is very easy to fall in love with the puppy face but there are even more adult dogs that are abandoned down south
