Abby is a 2 year old Chiweenie female who is 11 lbs. Abby is the sweetest pup who loves to snuggle on the couch and play fetch for a toy. Abby loves the company of another dog and needs a fenced in yard to play. Abby uses washable wee wee pads and/or the yard to potty. Abby really only barks when she is excited about going outside- she is so happy for outdoor time. Abby loves toys and to snuggle and doesn't even mind the cold weather with a little sweater but deep down we know she's a summer girl ! Abby is spayed and has all shots for the year. She is not on any medications other than flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Adopt Abby today !

Please fill out our application posted. All fields must be filled out or it will not be considered.

Approve Application

Please make sure your references know we will be calling. Please call your vet and give permission to Darling Paws to inquire about your pet

3.
Meet the Pet

Once approved, we set up a meet and greet and adoption. We do a meet, greet and adopt all in one visit.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in any of our dogs the first step is to fill out an application. We will check your references including your vet you currently use. We would love to chat with you to get to know you better. We require a home check to make sure your residence is suitable for a dog. Our fees include spay/neuter all vetting unless otherwise stated. If for any reason we do not spay or neuter if under a certain age we require a contract of spay/neuter.

Once you are approved , you are given the dog friendly location where to meet us. You are allowed to bring other dog(s) that you currently own and are encouraged to do that to ensure the dogs get along.

Darling Paws is a 501c3 charity organization based out of Nutley, NJ. We are a tiny rescue that is foster based, meaning we have no facility for you to come and meet the pups. We ask you to meet us a public location in Nutley, NJ. Our volunteers work full time and volunteer their free time to help rescue the less fortunate pets of Texas.
