If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Clover (aka Clo) came into our lives due to a neighbor moving and her needing a home. It was in the thick of winter in the Midwest and she was living outdoors at 9 weeks old. I have since been her primary home for the past 7 months.
Clo is up to date on shots, due to be spayed, house broken, crate trained and great with people. Due to my schedule and upcoming changes, my family will be home far less than I would like which means Clo is home alone and in her crate.
She would benefit from someone who can put the time in to fully train her, get her in an agility course, and socialize her with other dogs. Although I do try to work with her on greeting other dogs from far away, it is still a work in progress. A mature, confident dog in the household to learn from would be good for her. Or, simply working on socializing.
Someone ideal for Clo would be someone who treats her like the princess she is, spoils her rotten, and takes the time to work with her.
